Roll Over Dover!

Leona rolls over

Leona has learned to roll over. As part of her ‘tummy’ time, she works to hold her head up and moves her arms and legs. This causes the roll over to her back.

Danny and Jenna Hughes get bubbled while Cecelia and Leona watch.

Yesterday, Leona attended her first wedding. She was sitting with her 2nd cousins, Jackson Hughes and Landon Hughes at the wedding of Jenna and Danny Hughes.

This is a photo from a photo message that I received last night. I think Roxanne has realized that Leona is not just a visitor and has welcomed her into her family. We all remember to recognize and give love to Roxanne when ever we visit.

Just a Sunday

Sunday Morning Mass

Cecelia, Kevin and Leona joined Mike and I at the 11:00 am Mass. Leona slept (which is her favorite activity right now). Other children and babies made their usual noises during the service, which was a comforting way to be welcomed to the church.

Sunday Lunch

The new family quickly came to the Fox home as it was close to Leona’s feeding time. Kevin went to get some coffee for Cecelia while she fed her. Then we adults had some lunch too.

Naptime

Leona had her first nap in the upstairs baby guest room. The adults were entertained by ‘Leona’ radio as we listened to her sounds on the baby monitor (garage sales are great!) and sat around and talked.

Leona was born on September 1, 2011 at 8:51 am after a night of labor. She weighted in at 8 lbs 4 oz and was 20 inches long. She has had a wonderful life so far. She is exploring the world and has discovered her hands and is now working on holding her head up

The Other Labor Day

Family members visit Leona

Many Fox and Doenges family members visited on the Labor Day holiday. There was a potluck and grilling of hamburgers, hotdogs and bratwursts. There were not many buns, but we made do with what we had.
