A New Beginning in Website Development

Drupal, is it for you?

As part of the committee to redo the website for our church, I did some research on a Content Management System called Drupal.  When I first studied web development and my intro to the Internet class, I thought "Why use this kind of product?"  So, I proceeded to learn the traditional HTML/XHTML, CSS and PHP tools.  I created my original Fox Family Website a few years ago and maintained it using Dreamweaver.

So I got 'Drupal for Dummies' from the library and couldn't make heads or tails of it.  The better choice is to find an O'Reilly book, as they have you go through an example in each chapter.  "Using Drupal" was very helpful, so I converted the professional site to Drupal.

This site is my second adventure in using the Drupal tool and I hope you are enjoying the result.
