Leona has reached the 6 month milestone
Well, this is a leap year, so Leona was one day shy of 6 months old. At last week’s class, Leona was more interested in sitting up than lying down, so she moved to the Level 2 class this week.

Leona and Miles examine various balls.
In Level 2, the babies explore various tactile activities. Here are some difference size balls, with and without bumps on them. Parents were encourages to go to different stations.
Cecelia and Leona play 'Peek a boo' with Baba!
Leona gets to lean on the doughnut shape and look across to another baby on another doughnut shape. These shapes were on the bottom of a slide and there was another place for Baba to take a photo and do ‘Peek a Boo’
Inside the parachute!
We had the common activities of bubbles and playing with a parachute. The new twist is that we sat down inside the parachute and watched it slowly come down. As you can see, other babies have mastered sitting up by themselves. A few are very mobile and can crawl around well. I called these babies the escape artists of the group.
